The Red River Gorge Discovery Zone is a hands-on, family-friendly learning experience designed to spark curiosity and creativity in kids of all ages. Through engaging STEAM activities—Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math—we invite children and families to explore, experiment, and discover together in the heart of Kentucky’s breathtaking Red River Gorge region.

Our free, pop-up events are hosted throughout the year at local farmers markets, festivals, and community spaces, offering interactive stations that blend education with fun. Whether you’re building bridges, chasing butterflies, or meeting Santa, the Discovery Zone is a place where wonder meets learning—and everyone is welcome!
